Las Pascualas Beach Resort is a rustic, low-key gated community on Samaná Bay, just twenty minutes from the heart of downtown Samaná, Dominican Republic. Samaná Province is on the far northeastern tip of the Dominican Republic. It boasts some of the country’s most beautiful and rugged jungle and hilltop scenery, as well as miles and miles of breathtaking, unspoiled beaches.

But the region’s premier attraction is the spectacular, world-renowned seasonal humpback whale migration. Each year from about January 15 to March 31, humpback whales journey from icy northern waters to Samaná Bay to give birth to their young before returning home in spring. They can often be seen from the shore all along the north coast, and especially in the Las Galeras and Samaná regions as they travel to the bay.  A true wonder of nature, and a high-demand rental time!
